It started with one chaotic walk.
FernPaws began in Toronto in 2022, after our founder went out with a leash in one hand, a water bottle in the other, and bags in a pocket, and dropped all three chasing a squirrel-obsessed rescue named Fern.
We make everything your pet needs, done properly. Today that means walk gear and everyday accessories, tested by a very opinionated panel of dogs and cats. Food and comfort lines are next.

Terms of service
The basics
Fernpaw sells pet comfort goods online at fernpaws.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms, our shipping and returns policy, and our privacy policy. Prices are listed in CAD and charged in CAD at checkout.
Orders & payment
An order is accepted when you receive a confirmation email. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We may cancel and refund any order we cannot fulfil.
Shipping & delivery
Delivery estimates are shown on each product page and at checkout. Some items ship directly from our supply partners with longer windows, always shown before you pay.
Returns & the 30-night sniff test
You can return any product within 30 nights of delivery for a full refund with a prepaid label. See Shipping & returns for details.
Promotions
One discount code per order. Codes have no cash value and may end or change at any time. The Wheel of Naps allows one spin per visit.
Liability
Products are for pets; supervise use and remove any damaged item. To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Privacy policy
What we collect
Your name, email, shipping address, and phone number when you order or create an account, plus the products you view and buy. Payment details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
How we use it
To fulfil orders, provide tracking, answer support messages, and (only if you join the newsletter) send occasional offers. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Where it lives
Account details and your cart are stored on your own device. Orders live with our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting provider (Netlify). Live chat messages are handled by Crisp.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails anytime, clear your on-device data by signing out, and request a copy or deletion of your order data through the contact page.
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum: your currency and language preferences, and the essentials our chat and payment providers need to work.

Shipping & returns
Shipping times & cost
Orders ship within 1-2 business days from our Ontario warehouse. Canada: 2-5 business days. US: 4-8 business days. Shipping is free over $60 CAD; otherwise a flat $7.95.
The 30-night sniff test
Try any product for 30 nights. Not love? Email us for a prepaid return label and a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of receipt.
Exchanges
Wrong size? We ship the new size first and include a return label for the original, so your pet is never bed-less.
Warranty
Every product carries a 1-year stitching and zipper warranty. Chewed corners are pets being pets, but reach out anyway. We often help.
